Root Canal Treatment

A root canal is a procedure used to treat and save a tooth that has a deep infection or damage in the nerve (pulp). During the treatment, the infected or inflamed pulp inside the tooth is carefully removed, the inside is cleaned and disinfected, and then the space is filled and sealed. A crown is often placed on top to protect the tooth.
